Adventures of the Clutching Claw
or...
What's the Mater Alma?

By James R. Hurst & Zoe Bell Hurst

UNDERGRADUATES

The Clutching Claw
A night-roving miscreant. That weird shape. That hulking figure. Who can it be? What is it?
Grey Tovalli
Dr. Penrose Playfair
The uh, chief, uh, leader, no the president of Wichita Hillside University who, who…is somewhat at a loss for…for…uh, those things you make sentences with.
Ron Cox
Miss Alma Shrewwd
The president’s secretary and quite capable…for a woman. Be nice to her and she’ll show you her drawers.
Mary Lou Leighton
Dick Bestman
Our hero, the captain of the football team, star of track, field, rowing, not to mention senior valedictorian AND president of the student council. Phew!
Jeff Fancher
Timmy Oldfellow
The grandest old fellow at good ol’ W.H.U. He’s Dick’s best friend and head cheerleader. "Hit ‘em high, hit ‘em low, stomp their faces, go, go, go"!
Troy Village
Genevieve Astor
Our heroine, Dr. Playfair’s beautiful ward. She’s in love with the hero, of course, but if she cannot get her guy, she’ll take a missionary position.

Michelle Levine
Fenton Ormandroyd
The villain and Dr. Playfair’s near identical twin cousin. His crimes are those of a man: extortion, arson, murder, and buying beer on Sunday.
Greg Betts
Professor Kranston
An eminent professor, a brilliant scientist, and a most prestigious researcher. But, will the ghost of his past hinder his medical discoveries?
Shane Rumcie
Peaches LaTour
A sultry chanteuse – she can’t give you anything but love, or maybe an "A".
Marie Cushen
Hickory
Dickory
Dock
