Marie Cushen has performed as an actor in more than 15 melodramas since 1985 and has worked in several corporate videos as both an actor and as the makeup artist. Additionally, her experience includes play directing and show production. Marie joined BCP in 1991, following the trail of many performers who worked for years with the Claypipers in Dry Town, Ca. Over the years, Marie has played many of the traditional female melodramatic roles including evil villainess, saintly mother, and sweet heroine. Marie served two years on the BCP Board of Directors from 1998 to 2000. The first year in the capacity of VP-Advertising and the second as its President. Marie directed BCP´s 2002 production of "The Adventures of the Clutching Claw," or "What’s the Mater Alma?"

Kathy Dal Broi.

Colleen Darneille joined the company's thespians in 2007.

Judie Davis. joined BCP in 1994 as an Olio performer. Everything she knows she learned on the job, proving that she is trainable. She began as a Lil branching out anything she was asked to do, mainly fun numbers. Fortunately, they usually require minimum dancing or singing skills, but needing enough self-confidence to be laughed at as well as laughed with. (The willingness to wear unique costumes is a plus.) The hard work and utmost determination paid off and Judie got promoted to a position of coryphée du ballet; now she can present her charming artistry while wearing a lovely tutu. Judie was on the Board for 5 years serving as Party Meister and Ticket Chair.

Mike Davis is a late-bloomer (although always a show-off). He celebrated his 50th birthday as a song and dance man with BCP. The production people quickly switched him to character roles in the Melodrama in subsequent shows, since coordinated physical movement proved difficult. Has raised the art of dying on stage to a whole new art form. Mike has been elected the BCP president for 2003 season.

Nina Denton began her stage career in a kindergarten production, where she performed the role of a cricket, though she wanted to play a princess. (Another girl got the part.) In the mid eighties Nina got involved in a community theater in a neighboring city of San Carlos. She joined the BCP's olio troop in the 2000 season. Nina became recognized also as a gifted seamstress making costumes for those who are lacking any tailoring talent. In 2003 Nina was elected to the Board.

Terry Desmarais.

Jeff Doane.

Rosie Doane is one of the driving forces that propels this company forward. She is multi-talented: a saloon Lil, a superb tap dancer, singer, choreographer, producer, designer and manager. And even a cook! For years, Rosie has provided the after-show meals for the cast. Rosie has been a member of the Board almost since her appearance at BCP. She served as a President of Belmont Community Players in 2001 and was elected again to the Board in 2003.
