Judy Rechsteiner joined BCP in the 1991 season as a dancer and has been performing and choreographing for the group since that time. She served on the board for several years in various capacities, including President, Treasurer, Olio Director and Producer. Judy’s expertise in tap dancing (she teaches in Palo Alto) has brought many an enjoyable olio to Belmont audiences over the past decade. She is currently involved in establishing her own performance group while still keeping an active hand in community theatre.
Bob Reed joined BCP in the 1993 season as a 'thespian in training', debuting as an olio performer. Very soon Bob became the principal tenor-in-residence, singing the narrator part in the Swinging Doors olio number. He has even performed as an extra a couple of times in the melodramas. Bob has also assisted behind the scenes as a member of the lighting and stage crews. He is truly a 'bob-of-all-trades." In the melodrama off-season, Bob teaches neophyte aviators how to fly an airplane. In the remaining time, he works as a software engineer.
